Banda Mexican music



     Although band music is interpreted by many groups from different parts of Mexico, its roots in Sinaloa. That is very famous as  the Sinaloa Banda el Recodo known as the mother of all bands, the central instrument is the tuba. Another important music style norteno music from northern Mexico. Norteno music, like Texan music, arose in 1830 and 1840 in Rio Grande in southern Texas. Their rhythm comes from European polkas, which were popular in 1800. In popular music Rumba Latin American roots this coming from the Mexican slaves in Veracruz, Mexico City and Yucatan. The style began in Cuba and later in the black community in Mexico; bolero arrived in Yucatan and danzon in Veracruz. Both styles were popular throughout the country, and a Mexican style of both rhythms was formed. Colombian singers in 1940 immigrated to Mexico and began cumbia by Tony Camargo. In the 70, Aniceto Molina also immigrated to Mexico, and recorded many popular tropical cumbias as El Gallo Wet, El Peluquero and Seafood. Cumbia is played today in many different ways, and has slight variations depending on geographic area as sonidera cumbia, cumbia andia Mexican Norteno cumbia, techno-cumbia by composers and perfomers of Mexican cumbia as Dreamer group, Alberto Pedraza, Grupo Bronco, Selena. In Mexican pop singers today are Luis Miguel, Alejandro Fernandez, Thalia, Lucero, Marco Antonio Solis, Paulina Rubio, Alejandra Guzman, Gloria Trevi, Cristian Castro, Anahi and Dulce Maria.
